It's interesting how the ego can fool us. For instance the old saying "YOU CATCH MORE FLYS WITH HONEY THAN SALT". But the ego will tell us "YOU HAVE TO DO THIS, THEN DO THAT, THEN DO THIS! YOU HAVE TO FORCE THE ISSUE AND YOU'LL GET WHAT YOU WANT!" Life doesn't work like that. It starts with a simple smile. Then a gesture. Then a positive action. That's how we get what we want. We do not shove others and expect them to give us what we want. Or blame others and expect them to give us what we want. We are open and know that all parts make the whole. We take responsibility for our OWN thoughts and actions. We are polite to others and in return others are polite to us. The things we most want might be what others actually want to give to us.

EGO

The ego is against apology. An apology is humbling. The ego is not humble. The ego wants to tare down the town, kick and scream, cry and expect to get what it wants. The ego always loses. A simple apology can go a long way. To give or accept an apology CAN BE life changing. As the ego is also time based, the question for each individual is "HOW LONG SHALL YOU MAKE YOURSELF SUFFER?" With PEACE still water runs deep. Peace lasts and travels very far.
